Family Day

Just a reminder....
There are no classes on February 18 in recognition of Family Day.  There will be Monday classes on April 1, Easter Monday.

Recital Volunteers Needed!

It is recital planning time!  Our year-end recital is a highly anticipated event by our students who are eager to show what they’ve learned as well as get the chance to dress up and put on a fun show.  This year the recital is scheduled for MAY 15 (Wednesday).  Time TBD.

In order to give our students a quality recital experience, we rely on the help of volunteers. You should have received a Volunteer Sign Up sheet this week.  It is also available under "Important Info" on the right. Instructions for the return of the form are at the bottom of the sheet.

Youth Spirit Award

Congratulations to the Ballet Club!  We were selected as the winners of the AECL Youth Spirit Award at the Santa Claus Parade on December 1.  Pictured with the award and Ms. Steer are the Grade 2 and Beginner classes.

2012-2013 DRBC Executive

Last week's AGM went well and we got some important things taken care of.  Our constitution, which has been evolving since at least 1971, was updated to reflect the current times and practices.  Also, a new executive was elected.

Annual General Meeting

Our AGM is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, at 6:00 pm.  It will be held in the multi-purpose room next to the ballet classroom.
